繼貓屎咖啡之後，喝大象屎咖啡成爲新時尚。據英國《每日郵報》6月10日報道，泰國清盛安納塔拉景區的奢華酒店向遊客出售熱騰騰的“象屎”咖啡，這種特製的咖啡豆在大象消化道里經過長達17小時的發酵後排出，帶着一絲焦糖和巧克力的混合香味，給遊客獨一無二的奢華體驗。但是這種咖啡售價不菲，一杯咖啡售價就爲13美元(約合81元人民幣)。</p>

44歲的黑象牙咖啡加拿大籍開發人布雷克表示，他曾考慮生產貓屎咖啡，或用獅子和長頸鹿來消化咖啡豆，但他最後決定選用大象，因爲在東南亞，大象遇上乾旱時本來就會找咖啡豆喫。</p>
<p>
生產大象屎咖啡並沒有布雷克想象中的容易，他花了九年才成功。布雷克說：“我原以爲只要拿咖啡豆給大象喫，就會產出很棒的咖啡。”怎料首試結果“糟透了”，難以下嚥。</p>
<p>
布雷克將大象的食道形容爲燉鍋，喫下的咖啡豆須經17個小時纔會被排解。過程中，大象的胃酸會分解咖啡豆的苦味。</p>

布雷克說，大象需喫下33公斤的咖啡豆，纔會產出一公斤的咖啡，而且因爲大象在河裏洗澡時不時會排便，所以很多咖啡豆也就此“流失”。</p>
<p>
不過正因爲稀有，每公斤大象屎咖啡要價1880美元，即每一杯濃縮咖啡要13美元。其售出所得的8%將捐回給合作的保育組織。從大象屎裏挑出咖啡豆、清洗後曬乾的馴象師家人也將獲付薪水。</p>
<p>
目前，這珍貴的大象屎咖啡只在泰國、新加坡和香港等亞洲市場的高檔酒店出售。但再過不久，該產品也將進軍巴黎、蘇黎世、哥本哈根和莫斯科的高檔場所。</p>
<p>
其他屎類咖啡</p>
<p>
貓屎咖啡，產於印尼，世界最貴咖啡的一種。印尼種植大量的咖啡作物，有種野生的叫做麝香貓的動物，雜食動物，尖尖的嘴巴，深灰色的皮毛。最喜歡的食物就是新鮮的咖啡豆，咖啡豆通過在其體內的發酵和消化，最終成爲貓的糞便排出來。糞便就是一粒粒的咖啡豆，也成爲世界上最昂貴的糞便。由於數量非常的稀少，所以價格非常的昂貴。麝香貓在中南半島，印度(東北部)， 孟加拉，不丹，錫金，尼泊爾，克什米爾地區都有所分佈，但能產出貓屎咖啡的，只有蘇門答臘麝香貓即印尼麝香貓。經過加工和烘焙，貓屎咖啡成爲奢侈的咖啡飲品，流傳到世界各地的奢侈王國。當地的咖啡農，爲了追逐高額利潤，將野生的麝香貓捉回家中飼養，以便可以產出更多的貓屎咖啡。但是，養殖麝香貓產出的貓屎咖啡，成色味道也會相應的遜色很多。即使是這樣，這種咖啡的產量仍然十分稀少，並不是所有喜歡咖啡的人可以消費的起的。</p>

其實除了“貓屎咖啡”、“象糞咖啡”，還有很多動物也爲人類製造了“便便”咖啡，比如南美就有一種鳥屎咖啡。</p>
<p>
Jacu是生活在南美洲的一種鳥，它們很喜歡喫咖啡果實，咖啡果實經過它們的消化系統後產生的咖啡豆的品質都特別高。不過想要找鳥兒的糞便，同時糞便裏又那麼巧正好有未消化的咖啡果，那難度可想而知啊。</p>

所以鳥屎咖啡的產量甚至比貓屎咖啡還要少，據說價錢達到一萬多元一小包，只能衝幾杯。與貓屎咖啡不一樣的是，這種咖啡目前似乎還沒有人工養殖。</p>
