由於咖啡豆不能被消化，會被排泄出來，經過清洗、烘培後就成了貓屎咖啡。</p>
<p>
據說使用經過消化的豆子泡出的咖啡，苦澀味會降低，而且帶有特殊香氣。不過一小杯要價30美元，想嚐鮮的人要先掂掂錢包。</p>
