與中國市場的先行拓展者星巴克所代表的美國咖啡文化不同，Costa聲稱其源自意大利，並”帶有歐洲貴族氣息“，因此定位”略高於星巴克“。此外，Costa與星巴克等咖啡連鎖品牌所倡導的“全球連鎖標準化”不同，其在不同的國家和地區的風格將根據當地的口味和審美來定。</div>
