A coffee shop in East London has provoked outrage after banning Ugg boots and referring to them as slag wellies.

　　英國倫敦東區一家咖啡店禁止顧客穿Ugg雪地靴入店，並稱其爲“渣鞋”，這一舉動激起了衆怒。

　　Brick Lane Coffee in Shoreditch, East London, slated the popular Australian brand on a chalkboard outside its shop earlier this week, with the message: 'Sorry no Uggs (slag wellies)'.

　　近日，這家位於新興文藝區Shoreditch的“磚巷”咖啡店在店門口的黑板上寫下了一則關於澳大利亞著名品牌Ugg的提示：“對不起，穿Uggs(渣鞋)者不得入內”。

　　Passers-by took to Twitter to express their anger and it's not the first time The Goswell Road establishment has caused controversy.

　　路人們隨即開始在推特上表達他們的憤怒，這家位於高斯維爾路上的咖啡店已經不是第一次引起這樣的爭議了。

　　Earlier this year it prompted a similar response with a sign saying 'sorry, no poor people' and another that read 'please don't feed the crackies,' referring to drug addicts.

　　今年早些時候，“磚巷”咖啡店曾推出“對不起，窮人勿進”和“請不要喂那些吸毒者”的標語。

　　Brick Lane Coffee are known for their provocative chalk board signs.

　　“磚巷”咖啡店以其極具挑釁意味的黑板粉筆標語而聞名。

　　Previous offerings include: 'One coffee a day keeps Ebola away,' and 'No Northerners (you couldn't afford it anyway).'

　　先前的標語包括：“一天一咖啡，埃博拉遠離你”和“北方人不得入內(反正你買不起)”。

　　The independent retailer was unapologetic about the latest row.

　　這家獨立經營的咖啡店不願爲其引發爭議的新標語道歉。

　　In a statement, a spokeswoman said:'This criticism is a lot less than the support we get. Our shop is full of happy customers.

　　在一份聲明中，一位女發言人說：“我們得到的支持比批評多多了，我們店裏滿是快樂的顧客。

　　'All this kind of faux outrage does is give us further publicity.'

　　“這樣的批評讓我們的知名度更高了。”
